The London School’s Symphony Orchestra, a symphony orchestra with musicians drawn from students in London schools, will be performing at Milton Court Concert Hall on Tuesday 18th April 2023. They will be opening the concert with Errollyn Wallen’s Mighty River, composed to mark the bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. This will be followed by Elgar’s Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 4.
The LSSO is an organisation that is supported by the Munster Trust to help young musicians in the capital benefit from the wonderful opportunities they offer: performing concerts of a high standard and wide repertoire in London’s finest concert halls, working with eminent conductors, and playing with inspirational soloists.
